Ordering Online:
Currently our online mail order system goes through the service known as PayPal. If you don’t have an account with them, you're still in luck. You can still pay with a credit card without signing up if you don’t want too. Basically just add whatever item(s) you want to the PayPal shopping cart, proceed to “check out,” and PayPal will prompt you for your payment information. PayPal is an extremely secure service that sends us your money over the internet and allows us to process your order as quickly as possible. Once your order has been processed, we will drop you an e-mail letting you know your order has been processed and shipped so you can sit on the edge of your seat and wait for your awesome new items to arrive.

US Orders:
All of our US orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail which has a delivery time of 2-6 business days depending on your location.

General FAQ:
If you're question is answered in the FAQ chances are we are not going to respond to you by e-mail so please read this over!

Q: Do you trade records?
A: For many, many, many reasons not worth getting into, we do not trade records with labels or give records on consignment to distributors we've never even heard of. Sorry.

Q: Will you sign our band?
A:
I don't know, will we? Check out our guidelines for demo submissions and contact us again.

Q: I own/run a record store and would like to carry ISR releases. How can I go about purchasing records wholesale?
A:
Please contact the good folks over at RevHQ or contact Adam directly by clicking here. They will take care of you.

Q: How did you start ISR Records?
A: We could never fully answer this question in a paragraph. Then again, we're not even sure why we get asked this since we really don't know what the heck we're doing. All kidding aside, if you're really interested or have a question or two, feel free to e-mail or instant message one of us(info on the contact page) and we'll try to help out the best we can, mostly because we think it's awesome to encourage people to get more involved in music other than just standing at a show with your arms crossed.

Q: Why did the Iron Summit name get changed to ISR?
A: The long and short of it is that there is another label which shall remain nameless (although you could probably figure it out if you really wanted) that kindly asked us to change the name so as to avoid confusion. After a little bit of research, consultation, and deciding to avoid any possible legal action that could be taken against us, we conceded and changed the name. We tossed around a couple other horrible new names, but in the end opted to just condense the name down and leave it be. Why make things difficult right?

Q: Are you guys hiring/looking for interns?
A: In a word, no. ISR is a very small operation and we are simply not at a level of business where additional employees or interns are needed at this time. Never say never though!

ISR Records Demo Submission Guidelines

ATTENTION BANDS!
We are no longer accepting physical demo submissions (ie. press kits in the mail). Aside from the fact that we just don't have the storage space for all of the demos that we receive, the internet is an amazing tool and we would much rather you spend the money that you would normally spend on mailing us a press kit on other more important things for your band. As such, we are asking that if you're interested in working with ISR Records that you submit your press kit/demos electronically to the e-mail address below. We still have a couple guidelines for demo submissions that we'd appreciate if you would take the time to read over but all in all, we really just want to transform this rather formal process of submitting demos into a much easier and informal process. Thanks!

E-mail submissions may be mailed to:
info AT isrrecords DOT com

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR/SEE IN YOUR DEMO SUBMISSION:
1. Brief introduction/Band Bio.
2. Myspace/Purevolume links where we can hear your music
3. Song lyrics samples
4. Shows/Touring history
5. Does your band have a touring van/trailer?
6. Some form of visual representation of the band (promo photos, t-shirt designs, album artwork, etc.)
7. Anything else you would like to add!

SOME EXTRA NOTES ABOUT WORKING WITH ISR RECORDS:
-Much of the success of our releases depend not only us, but you as well. We want bands that are willing to work as hard for us as we are for them.

-We are interested in working with bands that tour and are self sufficient at it or have an outside agent who handles their booking. We have an insane amount of responsibilities even just running a small record label and can't be responsible for your ability to tour (financially or otherwise) or book your entire tour for you. If you've never toured before, tour first and then send us a demo. Prove to us that you're a hard working band! If you are serious about being a musician and want to be successful you HAVE to tour regardless if you work with a record label or not.

-Depending on the volume of submissions that we get, it may take us some time to get back to you.

-Most importantly realize that we are a SMALL. INDEPENDENT. RECORD. LABEL. We capitalized that because we want you to realize that working with us will NOT make you famous or rich. We are not your answer to success. You are your own answer to success. What we can be though is a small piece of that success that you wish to obtain. We're not sitting on piles and piles of money so if you're expecting us to just hand over checks in your name, have a rock star attitude, expect us to do everything for you, lack the ability to put in some work yourself, place recreational substances (legal or illegal) ahead of yourself and/or your band, lack responsibility, lack the ability to communicate, plan on sitting around all the time and ask us why your record isn't selling, think you're going to make tons of money, please look elsewhere. We do not want to work with you. We hate to be so blatant but some people we come across literally amaze us--and not in the good way. Simply put, imagine us in the same way that you imagine your band: up-and-coming and hard working. Lets help each other.

That about wraps it up. We will, at some point, listen to all submissions but please don't take it personal if you don't hear back from us. It simply isn't possible nor is it a reflection of what we think of your music. If we need to get a hold of you, we will.
