Last Day Dying’s ISR Records debut Lovers Arms has been set with the release date of May 16 th, 2006. The album, which spans over 70 minutes worth of music across 9 tracks (including the 21 minute epic …For The Ghost That Was Us) and will feature artwork created by bassist Ken Miller, was produced at Clay Creek Studios by Nick Rotundo(Boysetsfire, All Else Failed) and mastered by Alan Douches (Thrice, Hatebreed) at West West Side Music.
A video is in the works for their track "Lets Hear It For The Martyrs" and is expected to be directed by Kevin Custer whose previous video efforts include Ligeia, Zombie Apocalypse, The Killing Gift, and Forever I Burn.
Formed in 1998 in West Chester, PA, Last Day Dying have several independent releases under their belt including two EP’s (“Nite” & “Self Titled”), as well as one previous full length aptly titled “Anatomy Of A Collapse” and have had the honor of sharing the stage with various acts including Coheed And Cambria, One Dead Three Wounded, In Pieces, and Odd Project. Recently, the band was featured in the new book The New Wave of American Heavy Metal alongside a diverse group of artists including Converge, Glassjaw, and Lamb of God.
