Blessed With Embers was formed in December of 2003 by two friends who just wanted to do something that they enjoyed. Hailing from Paso Robles, a small city located on the central coast of California, the band was determined to bring their music to life and since their first show in a basement under a different name, Blessed With Embers has come a long way and have hopes to keep their journey alive. In 2004 they came out with a six track debut EP and sold quite a few on their own. After a while, however, they decided to try to re-invent themselves and dropped half the songs from the EP and started fresh. Since then, they have played alongside bands such as Underminded (Kung Fu), The Judas Cradle (Eulogy), Summers End (Hand Of Hope), Society’s Finest (Hand Of Hope), Light This City (Prosthetic), Nevea Tears (Eulogy), and received the most exciting news of their career, landing a deal with Arizona's ISR Records.

In May, 2005, the band drove four hours north to Sacramento, California and entered Deathbot Studios
(Promising Tomorrow, Conducting From The Grave, Killing The Dream). With only enough money and time for
two days in the studio where the band worked as hard as they could to get all their tracks done and pound out as solid of a performance as they could. The band was extremely amazed and impressed with the sound that recording engineer Phil Devereux was able to get out of them in such a short period of time. The result was blistering, in your face record that contains as much melody as there is brutality. The self-titled debut album "Blessed With Embers" brings to life a mix of metal, hardcore, and post-hardcore and is for fans of acts such as It Dies Today, As I Lay Dying, Norma Jean, The Judas Cradle, Zao and many more.
